Cambodia Legal Update: Online re registration deadline extended to 31 December 2018
January 30, 2018Good news for corporate entities that have not yet completed their online re-registration with the Ministry of Commerce (“MOC”). With its issuance of Notice No. 0281 dated 22 December 2017, the MOC has extended the previous deadline of 31 December 2017 to 31 December 2018 to give companies more time to comply with the regulations.
As the MOC moves towards stricter enforcement, we urge all entities that have not yet processed their online re-registration to take advantage of this deadline extension.
In order to complete re-registration, existing entities must submit their 2015, 2016 and 2017 Annual Declarations of Commercial Enterprise (“ADCEs”) together with certain other required documents and upload them into the MOC’s online system. Note that there is a fine of KHR2 million for each ADCE filed late, in addition to any official filing fees that need to be paid.
If you have any questions, or would like us to assist with your company’s re-registration, please contact me ([email protected]) or Mr. Alex Larkin ([email protected]).
