Myanmar latest footprint in VDB Loi Southeast Asia expansion

Earnest Financial Group, a specialised audit and tax firm, has joined regional and tax firm VDB Loi, effective 1 July 2012. VDB Loi Myanmar will provide cutting-edge tax advisory, tax and accounting compliance, and legal advisory services.

In addition to local partner, Thida Cho Win an ACCA qualified CPA with 25 years of experience in Myanmar tax and accounting matters and four local associates, VDB Loi has deployed Tax Manager Cynthia Herman to the Yangon office.

Herman is a qualified CPA from the UK with over five years of advisory experience with KPMG, DFDL and VDB Loi. In conjunction with Partners Edwin Vanderbruggen and Jean Loi, and Director Huy C. Luu, Herman has advised oil companies, oilfield service providers, distribution companies and private equity funds on Myanmar tax and investment matters.
