Flash Report – Enterprises Reminded of Registered Capital Contribution Deadlines

October 16, 2026

On 13 October 2026, the Enterprise Management Department of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce issued the Supplementary Notice No. 2250, urging enterprises to notify their registered capital contributions to the relevant enterprise registration official.

Key deadlines

Enterprises registered before the effective date of the Decision on Enterprise Registered Capital Contributions No. 2025 dated 9 September 2025 (“2025 Decision”) must contribute their registered capital by 23 October 2026. Enterprises registered from 24 October 2025 onwards have one year from their registration date, with the deadline falling on the corresponding anniversary in the following year.

Notification requirements

Enterprises must promptly notify the official who issued their enterprise registration certificates, using the prescribed application form and submitting the supporting documents required under the Guidance Notice No. 1243 dated 8 June 2026.

Consequences of non-compliance

Where an enterprise fails to notify, the registration official will issue an individual notice requiring changes to its enterprise registration within 60 days. These may include reducing registered capital, changing shareholders, or dissolving the enterprise. Failure to take action within that period may result in strict measures under the 2025 Decision.
